Please book your place via the school office as we have a very high demand for places.

Thank you.
School Uniform
All children wear school uniform. This is a school policy, endorsed by the Governing Body. There is a choice of red sweatshirt or red cardigan and white polo shirt, black or grey trousers, skirt or pinafore. Waterproof jackets and PE kits are also available. ‘Ella Bella's’ in Bramley carry stock of our logoed clothing so you are welcome to purchase it direct from them. Alternatively you can purchase uniform online from Pinders.

We do not ask children to change their footwear every day but if the weather is extreme – thick snow or torrential rain – we ask them to bring a change of shoes. Wellingtons should be purchased for Foundation children and they will be used for outdoor play.

It would help us considerably if clothing is marked with your child’s name (but especially outdoor coats andsweatshirts/cardigans). So many are alike and this would help to avoid confusion and ensure that lost property can be returned to its rightful owner.
Jewellery
In line with guidance the wearing of jewellery other than a watch and one pair of small stud earrings is not allowed, and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage of any valuable items. Earrings must be removed for P.E. lessons for health and safety reasons. Please can we ask that you consider having your child’s ears pierced at the very beginning of the 6 week holidays so it doesn’t disrupt their P.E entitlement.
School Meals
From September 2014 all Infant School children are entitled to free school meals.
Miss Dixon is our school cook, who works alongside kitchen assistants Ms Squires. Miss Dixon cooks delicious school dinners that are enjoyed and recommended by both the children and staff.

All lunches are served in the hall and we provide healthy daily meals. Menus are sent out for the term and rotate over three weeks. Your child can choose a hot school dinner (red/yellow choice), Jacket Potato(green) with a selection of fillings or a sandwich option(blue).
Children order their meal choice daily in class, they are then given a coloured band to correspond to their chosen meal option.

Children are supported at lunchtime by our team of SMSAs: Mrs Simmonds, Mrs Allen, Mrs Crownshaw, Mrs Duffin and Miss Shaw. Most of our SMSAs have an up to date Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
